We are delighted to announce that Philip Kotler has agreed to open the Conference. Philip Kotler was the first to use the term social marketing in 1971 and has led the way in defining and applying social marketing since that time.
The World Social Marketing Conference is also pleased to announce that Nancy Lee, President of Social Marketing Services Inc and Sameer Deshpande, Associate Professor, Marketing, University of Lethbridge have now agreed to speak at this exciting event. See the speaker page for more info.

Submissions to present at the conference are now closed. Applicants will be informed of the results in the first week of June. A full breakout session programme will be available in July.

The National Social Marketing Centre, in partnership with the University of Lethbridge and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, are pleased to announce the first World Social Marketing Conference. The Conference which takes place on 29-30 September 2008 in Brighton will be the first ever world event where delegates, exhibitors and speakers from around the world will meet to discuss the application of social marketing.
